Our Maine Snowshoe Hare hunts are all-inclusive with our world-reknowned beagles, free snowshoe rentals, snowmobile or enclosed UTV transportation into deep covers if needed, lodging, and 3 home-cooked meals per day. Hare can be dressed and packaged for $5 per hare, or use our cleaning station and do it yourself. Our Registered Maine Guides have a lifetime of experience hunting hare with beagles and although they can’t do the shooting for you, they will do their best to get you the opportunity to harvest a Maine snowshoe hare.

What you can expect: Arrive in the evening before your hunt. Breakfast is served at 7:30 or 8am, depending on hunting location that day. Load up and head to the hunting location, your guides will explain the hunting plan, hunter placement, and safety rules. Lunch is served in the woods and varies from soup/sandwiches, burgers, sausages, classic Maine hot dogs w/salt pork, and may include Bob’s famous grilled chocolate chip cookies, but always some homemade goody. After lunch, finish up the day hunting until 3-4pm, and head back to the lodge. We provide delicious home-cooked dinners and desserts, eaten together as a group each night where the stories of the day are shared. Comfy bedding and towels are provided, housekeeping service keeps the bathrooms tidy and stocked with essentials. We don’t mix separate parties in bedrooms, but this means we don’t typically guarantee which room or cabin you will have until all rooms/cabins are booked.
Booking/Payment Info: You can book as many day(s) as you’d like. When booking a group, each individual will receive his/her own invoice. A non-refundable deposit of 1/3 total trip will be due within one week of making reservation, the balance is due upon arrival at Pine Grove Lodge. All payments are final and non-transferrable except to a person not already booked.
